The Cupboards Are Bare?
More and more, we in LVMAC are hearing that food stability and affordable housing are major problems in the Lehigh Valley, rising to levels in want of concerted, community action, to include orchestration by government. Naturally, what affects the general population affects veterans also, as they constitute a sizeable demographic population here. Hence, our concern, for we can no longer ignore these issues as incidental and temporary.
Therefore, LVMAC will be writing more on these subjects in the future in addition to developing needed collaborations and updating our website’s “Answers Desk”. Meanwhile, we are distributing in this news blog one call for action from one of our member organizations to underscore how you can help in the short-term. There are other organizations also begging for help.
