LVMAC Tidbit — Motorcycle Club Ride to Benefit Lehigh Valley Veterans
RIDE FOR LEHIGH VALLEY VETS
Showing support for our local veterans
The Teamster Horsemen Motorcycle Association Chapter 53 North will host its first annual ride to benefit local veterans on July 20, 2013 at Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, 21st and Canal Streets, Northampton, PA.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club. “Kick stands up” at 11:00 a.m. for a 1 ½ hour guided ride through the scenic Lehigh Valley. Riders will then return to the Tri-Boro for food and beverages, served from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and DJ entertainment. Free event T-shirts will be given to the first 100 participants to register. A donation of $25 for riders and $20 for passengers is asked.
You don’t have to be a rider to show your support – walk-ins are welcome with a $20 donation.
Proceeds from the event will go to Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council (LVMAC).
Veterans organizations are welcome to put up display tables.
The Teamster Horsemen Motorcycle Association Chapter 53N, in addition to being family oriented and supporting its fellow union members, has taken on a special mission of supporting childrens’ and veterans’ charitable organizations. See www.thma53n.org/ for more.
Point of Contact: Roxanne Frenke as on the flyer above or Brian Taylor, President, tel: 610-428-2869, email: BrianTaylor29@yahoo.com
Editor’s Note: Mr. Taylor informs us he is looking for volunteers to help cook hotdogs and hamburgers and help with set-up, as theirs is a very small motorcycle club. Most critical food item donations needed are hamburgers, hot dogs and potato salad. See their Supplies Donation Flyer for other ways to help.
