Judge Jennifer Sletvold of the Northampton Court of Common Pleas and Stephanie Spenser Stewart, Northampton County Problem Solving Court Coordinator, spoke to the council at its 17 April 2024  meeting in Hellertown about the creation of a Veterans Treatment Court, the first in of its kind in the Lehigh Valley [Editor’s Note: the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania has been pathetic in ensuring equity for all veterans  Where one lives, should not determine the access to what these courts provide.].  They discussed what their version of a veterans treatment court will and not provide.
