LVMAC Tidbit: Wilkes-Barre VAMC Cancels March Town Halls

At the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, we strive to provide our Veterans with effective healthcare in a safe and effective manner.  Although, to date, there have been only (6) positive cases of the Covid-19 identified across Pennsylvania, and NO positive cases at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, we’ve implemented precautions to help keep our patients, visitors and staff safe.

It is out of an abundance of caution that the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center has decided to postpone the upcoming Community Town Hall in Williamsport on March 11, 2020 and at Wilkes-Barre for March 25, 2020.  We’re continuing to closely monitor the rapidly changing  environment of Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) and we will update scheduling as more information becomes available.
