This is the thirteenth year we are celebrating our recently returned veterans and servicemembers, who attend at no cost (including their significant other).  It also gives us all an opportunity to mingle and socialize as a community.  The dinner’s continuance is a testimony to its past success and to a wonderfully supportive community we have in this valley.  Some new wrinkles have been added this year to improve the atmosphere of the event.

Robert P. Daday, Col., USMC (Ret.)

This year’s speaker will be Robert P. Daday, Colonel, U.S. Marine Corps (Retired).  A practicing lawyer, he is a veteran well-known for his active civic engagement within the local Lehigh Valley  community.  His notable activities have included being the Secretary of the Crime Victims Council of the Lehigh Valley, a Board Director for the Lehigh County Senior Center Board, and an active member of the in the Honorary First Defenders, Knights of Columbus, Pennsylvania Republican State Committee and Saint Thomas More Parish.  While serving, he was recognized as “Marine of the Year” by the Pennsylvania Department of the Marine Corps League for his contributions to the community on behalf of the Marine Corps and the Marine Corps League.

Beyond some pomp and ceremony, lie the true purposes of the event: the need to maintain the connection of our military to our community for their good and to remember in an active way what our veterans have often sacrificed for us.

To register as an individual or a group, use either the PDF or Word Doc form.  For questions and if you are a recently returned veteran or a currently a servicemember (reserve or active), please contact admin.office@lvmac.org and write you wish to attend — or call 484-788-0196.  The office is open on Wednesdays.
